Flight training

Learn to Fly Here.

4R7 – Eunice, LA – Municipal Airport
Our home base is a non‑towered airport. A simple environment increases training efficiency — pre‑flight, taxi, and runway work without the congestion.

Training That Fits Real Life

Part 61 is built for learners who want to fly for pleasure, learn at their own pace, and keep costs sensible — without sacrificing safety or skill.

Why Part 61?

I learned the hard way that the “flight school” (Part 141) route is not for the faint of wallet. It’s often built for career aviators on fast‑track schedules.

Part 61 offers a home for the rest of us — learning at your own pace, in a more fun, dream‑fulfilling environment, while still keeping safety and skill at the center.

Zero‑To‑Hero

With ULTRAventure, an aspiring learner can go from zero‑to‑hero and earn a Private Pilot License under FAA’s Part 61.

For additional ratings, ULTRAventure can assist and guide by networking with other training outlets and CFIs, CFIIs, and MEIs.

How We Got Here

ULTRAventure’s owner is a commercial pilot and flight instructor — and the path started with a simple moment: a fire in the backyard, and small aircraft passing over South Louisiana. One year later, the dream turned into a solo in a Cessna 172.

After knocking out the written test and learning everything possible about aircraft ownership, a deal was struck — and N19882 came to Eunice Municipal Airport.

You Can Do It Too

Learning to fly and owning an aircraft is a measure of persistence, determination, and ambition. Once those boxes are checked, it becomes a game of cost and choices.

Instead of sinking money into a depreciating asset like a fast car, ULTRAventure chose an appreciating asset: a small 4‑place aircraft.

Flight Reviews — Stay with Aviation

Need a Flight Review? (Yes, a “biennial”.) We do that! And we try to do it cheap or free. Why? First, safety. Second, we love flying. Third, we want to KEEP our aviators in the air. Without easy access to regular Flight Reviews, our civil aviation community suffers.

Don’t need a Flight Review, and want training anyway? Get some dual‑instruction in a “flight review” format and see where you sit with recency, currency, and skill.

ULTRAventure has discretion on Flight Review pricing. ULTRAventure favors lower costs to those RETURNING to aviation or seeking re‑entry into the general community. This is aimed at the “hobby flying” sect of civil aviation not the “commercialized” side. ULTRAventure does this to enable “fun flyer” to stay here. “Free or Reduced” may also be influenced by other cost factors such as future instruction speculation, aircraft rental, or general exchanges at the discretion of ULTRAventure and its managers/owners.
